Stock Controller

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 
·         Expedite supply of spare parts on Purchase Orders with the vendors and follow up with the logistics service providers to ensure timely deliveries.
·         Continually review and analyze stock and operational plans for ensuring adequate stock availability of all products across all company to enable G.B Auto strengthen its position in the market and to provide a platform to support expansions.
·         Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock holding and maximizes stock movement for sale and recording of system accuracy while working with purchasing, goods inwards and dispatch to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly.
·         Advises on current and future in market sales against business targets/forecasts from past trends and takes a lead role in identifying solutions to complex problems. Identify trends of shortages and implement robust reporting and shortage contingency plans.
·         Create Purchase Orders on local / foreign vendors, where parts are required to be purchased.
·         Monitor stocks in each location in the company and, where needed, advice Product Management to take action parts that have inadequate stocks.
·         Create sales & distribution performance reports, completing measurement and tracking KPIs of sales & distribution sales channels.
·         Update the sales and workshop associates on the ETA (Expected Time of Arrival) of customer orders on a daily basis.
·         Monitor parts that have been received against customer orders but not sold and follow-up to ensure that they are sold.
·         Monitor parts returned by customers and request for return to vendors where possible.
·         Provide technical support to the parts sales staff by resolving their queries and issues through interacting with the vendors via systems.
·         Process receipt discrepancy claims on vendors and follow up for claim settlement. Send monthly report to the Manager.
·         Effectively measure the achievement of department KPIs such as stock out index, forecast accuracies etc.
·         Enhances productivity through giving the right analytical input on the planning of New Product Launch based on the market feel and competitors activity feedback from marketing department.
·         Recommends innovative methods and practices to initiates process improvements to effectively meet market demands, align business partners and manages the implementation through team members.
·         Create Sales Analysis & Reporting, gather reports.
·         Report weekly, monthly, and annually, to the brand manager fast moving items, and slow moving items while presenting an action plan to enhance slow moving items sales.
·         Liaising and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure development and delivery of sales & distribution reports as per requirements, gathering and analyzing information, extract conclusions and present in a meaningful format.
·         Monitoring trends and forecast on market/ customer/ channel assumptions and defend Sales & Distribution plans and assumptions.
·         Acting as the key communications interface between sales & distribution and other commercial business units.
·         Maintain awareness of automotive industry, paying particular attention to new features, technical developments, market trends, competitor analysis, selling techniques and customer handling skills.
·         Demand and supply planning through participation in weekly / monthly demand sessions.
·         Reviewing, setting up, and insuring best practices in inventory and stock management.
·         Ensuring divisional KPIs are met.
·         Establish and utilize best methods (statistical models and software tools) in creating forecasts.
·         Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
·         Follow up regular feedback on the market & competitors' activities prompt from his team.
·         Follow up a report on lost sales / Backordered report etc.
·         Follow up V.O.R, Weekly, Monthly orders with vendors.
·         Providing regular reports about competitor's sales development and promotional campaigns
