Oracle DBA Team Leader

 

. JOB PURPOSE:
Supervise the business application implementation / operation / continues improvement by leading his team and IT activities to achieve the IT application strategy for business cycles / Functions under his span of control.

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:Responsibilities for the position and the expected end result including tasks
Keep healthy Applications operations:
-          Participate in building robust business applications, under the direction of applications Manager through standard operating procedures with the adherence of prediction and continuous improvements.
-          Conduct regular follow up on the operational work flow. Take proactive & corrective actions to smooth day to day operation and secure business.
 
Lead Implementation:
Lead the implementation of business application in the assigned operational units under his span of control. Through estimate and develop full plans and budget  for the current and future business scope regarding its intervention with the business application ,
 
Team Leading:
Build, manage and maintain a strong business application team through participating in Recruiting/ Hiring and carrying out Developing / coaching/motivating and training team members.
 
Business alignment:
Work closely with IT/Business management, and Vendors, SSIS Technical Team … to Identify the business application requirements, and enhance the current applications processes to satisfy the current & future business needs. Enrich business with IT/business initiatives that capitalize business knowledge with IT solutions.
 
Manage applications:

Participate in applications manager to identify, assess, select the best solutions, vendors and suppliers to satisfy the business needs and align with IT sector for technical issues if needed.

 

 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Mastery of, and skill in applying:
1.                   Leadership styles.
2.                   Coaching and directing others.
3.                   Business partnership.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
·         University degree in computer sciences, statistics or equivalent. A higher degree in Information systems is an asset.
·         Very Good Business knowledge.
·         Very Good command of English.
·         MBA or PMP, ITIL  is an asset
 
Minimum Experience:
·         7-10 years of experience in information systems.
 
Job specific Skills:
1.       Fully acquainted with the recent developments in information systems and computer applications.
2.       Oracle ERP Implementation and Operation support experience
3.       Business understanding “Financials, Sales ….”
4.     S/W development solid experience
5.       information systems security principles and concepts
6.       applications software design concepts and methods
7.       customer support principles, methods, and practices
8.       performance management and measurement methods and tools;
9.       knowledge management
10.    database management concepts and techniques
11.data mining, storage, and warehousing methods
